Google to build data centers in India, the total budget of the data center set up is near about $1 billion, the center will occupy 20acres and have the capacity to work 4,000 employs. It is been declared by a report that Google will build data centers in Andra Pradesh state, India, and the application has been cleared by the Indian Governments Board of Approvals. This Data Centers will be used as a concentrator for Access of Gmail, Search Results. This will give fast access to the surfers in Asia.
Other main reason for Google building this Data Center in India is the fact that India is second largest Google user, secondly only to United States of America. Asian countries are seen as big market for Google products. Also this data center will help web users in Asia to enjoy fast internet accesses. Also Google is interested to set up data center in few more countries in Asia like Malaysia, South Korea, and Vietnam the reason why the company is investing so much on infrastructure? Because it believes every dollar spent provides it with a competitive benefits over its rivals. As the company is focusing on reducing cost in data centers by designing its own power cooling and server hardware among with server software and custom operation system.
Companies like DELL and ACCENTURE’S are too interested to set up data centers in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Dell has already 12,000 people working in its four data centers and it is going to increase to nearby 20,000 in coming years.Presently storage capacity of IT Companies has become a most important problem and individual data centers operators like Yahoo and Microsoft are investing large amounts of Dollars in creating larger and faster data centers. The data center’s investing gives economic growth in India, also help to increase IT business all over the world.
